The runaway favourites
Brown's Men's 1V have been backed to the hilt against Columbia - 88% of you are leaning Bruno's way, making it the most lopsided pick on the card. Columbia will be hoping the river hasn't read the predictions page.
Washington's Women's 1V are nearly as loved, with 83% tipping the Huskies over California. In fact, Washington are favourites in every single Women's Varsity boat class today - a clean seven-boat sweep on paper. The narrowest of those? The 2V 4+ at 58/42, so if anything is going to spoil the Husky party, keep an eye on Cal's second coxed four.
In the other duals, Cal Men (76%) and Harvard Lights 1V (74%) are the other heavy favourites, with plenty of confidence in both.
The coin tosses
Two races are on an absolute knife-edge:
- Dartmouth V4 vs Harvard Lights V4 - 51/49. Doesn't get much tighter than that.
- Syracuse W 1V vs Brown W 1V - also 51/49. Pick a side and pray.
And almost as close:
- Harvard W vs Virginia W - Virginia sneak it 55/45, a mild upset brewing against the Crimson.
- Stanford vs Yale Men - Stanford narrowly ahead 57/43.
Spare a thought for…
Cornell Women's 1V, who have attracted a heroic 7% of picks in the three-way with Princeton and Rutgers. Princeton are clear favourites at 56%, Rutgers the dark horse at 37%, and Cornell… well, they have the chance to ruin a lot of leaderboards today.
Also sitting lonely at the bottom of the pops: Columbia Men (12%), California W 1V (17%), and Princeton Men (24%). Upset specials, if you're looking for them.
Strap in - with seven Washington picks, two near-coin-flips and a few lopsided duals, today's leaderboard moves will come down to whoever had the nerve to back the underdogs.
